Wolfberger’s Foundation and Clubs
The solidarity that has united the winegrowers and their families for so long goes far beyond their professional activities.
The Wolfberger Foundation
The solidarity that has united the winegrowers and their families for so long goes far beyond their professional activities. The uniqueness of the Wolfberger Foundation is that it is open to all members of the Wolfberger family, the winegrowers and other collaborators.
Every year, with the support of the Clubs, the Foundation organizes an event celebrating solidarity in order to raise money and, with the participation of a charity or a local aid association, support one person or a group of people in difficulty. Seeing-eye dogs, physical reeducation, handicapped children, therapy or care for the elderly–Wolfberger acts concretely, in its region, for solidarity with others.
The Wolfberger Clubs of Senior Citizens and Ambassadors
The Club of Senior Citizens offers those who are no longer working the opportunity to interact – mainly through leisure activities and study trips – while staying in touch with their successors. One way to stay involved with the winery is the Youth Club, which lets youngsters in the Wolfberger family who will one day take over from their elders learn about the culture and spirit of the cooperative. Just as involved in the family business are the wives of the winegrowers, who created the Ambassadors Club. It has been organizing workshops, conferences, wine-tastings, visits and trips for over 20 years now.
