Quality : a Wolfberger priority
Quality at Wolfberger is above all a question of trust and that trust grows by establishing proof of quality.
Quality at Wolfberger is above all a question of trust between Wolfberger and its customers as well as between Wolfberger and its viticulturists. That trust grows by establishing proof of quality.
That’s why, going well beyond the rules of the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC), Wolfberger voluntarily undertook steps to improve quality with:
- ISO 9001 (system of quality management)
- ISO 14001 (system of environmental management)
- ISO 22000 (system of food safety management)
- ISO 50001 (system of energy management)
Wolfberger is the single player in the French wine-making industry (wines and Crémants) which is both ISO 22 000 and ISO 50 001-certified.
Wolfberger’s sites
Quality standards exist at three of our sites: Wolfberger Eguisheim (Alsace Wines), Espace Wolfberger (Crémants d’Alsace) and the Wolfberger Distillery (Eaux-de-Vies and liqueurs of Alsace), all ISO 9001-certified since 2000. The two pressing sites were subsequently certified. Then all the other sites, including Orschwihr and Dambach-la-Ville, were certified ISO 9001, 2008 version, in 2010. These accreditations are indispensible to making reliable action plans. But our main concerns are for what affects us most — improving the quality of our products, the services provided to our customers, the health of our consumers, and the safety of our products and those who make them, our collaborators. In a constantly changing world, it’s no longer enough to ensure the continuity of existing systems, but to anticipate and manage change. Convinced that performance is everyone’s responsibility, we intend to strengthen our commitment to better serve our customers.
